Sharon Marie Gaus, 57, of Pittsburgh, was charged with theft following a report in Homer Township on Aug. 20. Gaus left a night sky tour before making the payment owed to the tour provider. Contact was attempted, but was unsuccessful. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 18.

Timothy Lee Matteson, 62, of Genesee, was charged with failure to comply with registration of sexual offender requirements following a notice on Sweden Township on June 26. Matteson purchased a vehicle without registering change of information related to the vehicle to police as was stated on registration forms. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 24.

Adam Ryan Sallade, 32, of Roulette, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence following his preliminary arraignment in Sweden Township on June 15. A search was conducted and methamphetamine was found in a container inside Sallade’s shoe. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 24.

Jason William Fertal, 35, of Niagra Falls, N.Y., was charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and indecent assault following a report of sexual assault that happened in prior years in Potter County on Nov. 25, 2019. Fertal allegedly gave the victim drugs and requested sex. During an investigation on April 22, 2020, an interview with Fertal revealed multiple sexual occurrences between the two individuals. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 18.

Caleb Kyle Ahearn, 23, of Coudersport, was charged with strangulation and harassment following a report of an individual who was threatening to commit suicide in Coudersport Borough on Sept. 7. Ahearn allegedly shoved the victim and grab her neck, threatened to kill another individual and himself. Ahearn admittedly reported he had been drinking and was feeling upset. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Sept. 15.

Tessa Fair, 29, of Coudersport, was charged on two separate cases with strangulation, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person following reports of child abuse and assault that occurred in Coudersport Borough on March 18 and July 30. On the first incident, Fair allegedly placed her hands around the victims neck and put them on the floor then attempted to pour liquid soap down their throat. On the second incident, Fair allegedly was upset the victim took her yogurt, then she grabbed them by the neck and put them against the wall. She then grabbed the arm of the victim and punched numerous times, leaving black and blue marks to the leg. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Sept. 14.
