Harassment

Ryan Dexter, 37, of Genesee was arrested after a verbal argument lead to a physical incident on July 26 in Sharon Township. A fight between two sisters occurred after Dexter allegedly grabbed the victim and pushed her.

Trespass

An investigation is ongoing about a report ed trespassing made on July 26 in Allegany Township about a trespass.

Bradley Salada, 46, of Shinglehouse was found with his parked truck and trailer on property he knowingly was not allowed on. The report was made on Sept. 2 in Sharon Township and Salada was arrested.

Theft

A report was received of a stolen firearm during a firearms relinquishment at a station. It was said the handgun was taken from a male’s vehicle sometime between March and Aug. 30 in Eulalia Township. The handgun is valued at $280. The investigation is ongoing.

A case remains open on an investigation of theft in Allegany Township from March 24, 2016- Dec. 29, 2019.

Accident

A single-vehicle incident involving one driver and a passenger occurred on Aug. 25 in Keating Township. Kayla Hardesty, 24, of Port Allegany was driving a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix when she merged onto State Route 607. She noticed her vehicle began smoking. After she pulled over, flames were seen near the engine and the car was evacuated. No injuries were sustained.

It was determined Vanessa R. Erhard, 33, of Ulysses was under the influence of alcohol when she crashed on Sept. 3 in Ulysses Township. Erhard was distracted by her cell phone causing her to veer to the right, off the roadway, striking a tree in a 2012 Kia Rio. The vehicle sustained disabling front end damage, but Erhard sustained no injury.

Drug possession

A traffic stop was conducted in Eulalia Township on Aug. 22. Upon investigation, the driver was determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance.

It was discovered Jon Faber, 34, of Angelica, N.Y. was in possession of numerous drugs and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop on Sept. 1 in Sweden Township. Faber was arrested on scene for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

Matthew Strasser, 29, of Alden, N.Y. was arrested during a traffic stop on July 11 in Harrison Township when it was determined he was in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
