The Northern Potter Lady Panthers’ girls basketball team took on the North Penn-Mansfield Lady Tigers in the consolation game of the Jack Bush Tournament at Cowanesque Valley and used three fourth-quarter three-pointers towards a nail-biting, 36-33 victory on Saturday, Dec. 10.

Kayden Brown, Reagan Slawson and Rebecca Martin hit the threes to erase a 28-24 deficit at the end of the third.

Martin had a spectacular game for the Lady Panthers, scoring 21 points and grabbing 18 rebounds.

Brown also had seven steals.

Addison Farrer had a great game for North Penn-Mansfield, dishing out 19 points.

The Coudersport Lady Falcons’ basketball team took their home court on Friday, December 9 against the Bradford Lady Owls and rolled to a 45-23 win.

Emma Chambers was on fire in the first quarter for the Lady Falcons, hitting three three-pointers and a short jumper to score the first 11 points of the game towards a game-high 16 points.

Hallie Rigas sunk several long two-point jumpers towards 14 points and Emilee Ruter hit a pair of threes and scored eight.

Alanna Benson led Bradford with 13 points.
