William Bachman, 70, of Coudersport, was driving a 2019 Ford F350 north on Dingman Run Road on Feb. 7, when he collided with a 2014 Ford F350, headed south and being driven by Benjamin Clay, 42, of Coudersport. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene. Neither driver reported injuries and both were cited; Bachman was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic and Clay was cited for carrying and exhibiting driver’s license on demand.

Triston Duell, 23, of Coudersport, was driving a 2004 Honda Pilot on SR-6 on Feb. 7 when he crossed the westbound lane and struck the guide rail on the north side. Duell sustained minor injuries and was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic. Coudersport EMS and Gaines Towing assisted PSP on scene.


Two Westfield residents contacted PSP on Feb. 6 and reported that an active burglary to their garage. The suspect(s) fled the scene in an unknown direction, in an unknown type of vehicle, upon police arriving at the scene. Terroristic Threats

A juvenile male is suspected of making threatening comments on Feb. 3 at Austin Area School. The investigation is ongoing.


David Brown, 72, of Coudersport, was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol on Jan. 22, during a traffic stop. Lab results were obtained and charges were filed before MDJ Christopher Kalacinski.

Contact was made with Ryan Dexter, 37, of Genesse at the Dollar General store in Ulysses on Jan. 17. An investigation revealed Dexter had driven to the location while under the influence of drugs. Charges for DUI, public drunkenness and related summary offenses were filed before MDJ Christopher Kalacinski.

Firearm sale/transfer

A firearms violation allegedly occurred on Nov. 18, 2018. PSP-Coudersport was assigned to investigate the allegation on Feb. 6. The investigation is ongoing.
