Jeffrey Lee Reynold, 59, of Roulette, was charged with aggravated cruelty to animal and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence following a report of animal cruelty on Moffit Road on Dec. 12, 2019. An individual said he saw Reynold drive past his residence and then heard six gunshots after a few minutes. He drove down and saw blood on the road. He found two dogs, not moving, with apparent gun shot wounds. The dog owner was found. A gun from Reynold’s residence was found to match the rounds found from both dogs. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Sept. 1.

Janet Anne Healy, 58, of Shinglehouse, was charged with simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief following a report of domestic violence on Dodge Road on Aug. 26. It was reported that Healy grabbed a phone and smashed the phone screen on the victim’s head. A small laceration was found on the victim, causing bleeding, as well as blood found around the crack of the screen. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Sept. 1.

Delwyn Austin Shafer, 22, of Westfield, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, delivery of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility following an investigation completed on Aug. 18. An investigator had communication with Shafer regarding the sale of methamphetamine. The sale was made for $150.00. The substance that was handed to police was tested and shown to be positive for methamphetamine. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 10.

Joshua Levin, 42, of Genessee, was charged with three counts of driving under the influence and careless driving following a suspicion of DUI on May 17. Levin was administered field of sobriety tests that showed several signs of impairment. Blood tests showed Levin to have acetone and a drug in his system. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 14.
