Endangering welfare of a child

Meagan Williams, 33, of Jamestown, N.Y., was arrested following a report of a domestic incident at the Kinzua State Park on Viaduct Road, Hamlin Township Sept. 27. State police found that Williams violated an order of protection issued out of Jamestown, N.Y., and endangered the welfare of a 13-year-old girl of Jamestown. She was charged and arraigned before District Judge Todd, was unable to post bail and was remanded to the McKean County Jail.

Crash

Justin J. Crawford, 26, of Mt. Jewett, escaped injury in a one-vehicle crash on Jackson Avenue, Mt. Jewett Sept. 23. Police said Crawford was traveling west on a Yamaha Moto 4 when he noticed smoke and flames coming from the front of the vehicle. He stopped the unit and was able to get away from it before it completely caught fire, police said. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Drug possession

Following a traffic stop on Glenwood and Hacker streets, Kane Sept. 22, an unnamed individual driving a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo is under investigation for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Harassment

a 31-year-old Eldred man was arrested for a report of harassment Sept. 22. The victim, a 32-year-old Eldred woman, reported that she had been pushed by her boyfriend. She also reported that personal items had been taken from her purse during the incident. The investigation is on-going.

Criminal trespass

Robert Williams, 22, of Bradford, and Zachary Frontera, 25, of Kane, were arrested for criminal trespass at Paynes Road, Wetmore Township Sept. 26. The investigation continues.

Tobacco sale

Police are investigating the sale of tobacco to an underage person by a 45-year-old man Sept. 26 at East Main Street, Mt. Jewett.

DUI crash/drugs

Austin Tankersly, 26, of Smethport, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants after he crashed his 2001 Ford F-150XLT pick-up truck on Main Street, Eldred Sept. 26. Charges are pending the results of blood testing at Bradford Regional Medical Center.
