In the most recent edition of Banking Mid Atlantic magazine, First Citizens Community Bank was ranked as the third bank in north central Pennsylvania for overall quality along with First Keystone Community Bank, The Northumberland National Bank, Woodlands Bank and First Columbia Bank & Trust.
Banking Mid Atlantic uses the results from Rivel Banking Benchmarks to identify the winners of their Banking Choice Awards. Rivel, a financial research company, conducts biannual customer surveys to help banks find an objective view of what their customers really think. In the north central Pennsylvania division, eight counties were surveyed, including Bradford, Tioga and Potter, where FCCB has 15 of their 30 total branches.
“Our strategy has never been about selling products, but instead about finding ways to make life more rewarding for our customers,” said Randall E. Black, CEO and president at FCCB. “Our success is based on building relationships, and being accountable to our customers, which we believe is the foundation for trust.”
This ranking is not the first of its kind for FCCB. In 2018 and 2019, FCCB was ranked as the number one Pennsylvania-based Bank in Forbes nationwide customer surveys. “In the end, our customers just want us to look out for them. It’s what being a community bank is all about,” said Black.
In addition to recognition received for customer service, for thirteen consecutive years, FCCB has ranked as one of the 100 best performing Community Banks in the Nation, and is consistently ranked one of the top Ag Lending banks headquartered in Pennsylvania.
