No Injuries in Keating Twp MVA

The Austin Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched at 1:38 p.m. on New Year’s Eve for a motor vehicle accident on Gardeau Road in Keating Twp. Dean Earle was traveling north when icy roads caused him to lose control and go down over an embankment. There were no injuries. AVFD was assisted by the state police and Kightlinger Motors.

Second Chance Animal Sanctuaries announces the randomly drawn winners of its Howl-A-Day raffle — from left, Patti Mihalik, Scott Staudt and Angela Staudt. Patti and Angela won $50 lottery wreaths and Scott won a $100 lottery tree. Second Chance thanks all who entered the raffle, which brought in much-needed funds for the dogs and cats helped by the organization.
